Hi everyone, i wanted to suggest the Airtaxi script.
i made one already, there are just a few little things to change where my experience is not good enough yet:) (and i dont know the excact server script thats running aleady, so i cant script some stuff yet) So with the airtaxiscript you would be able to call an airtaxi from whereever you are right now to one of the 3 airports. and you can change the amount of money you want to pay. once you request a plane/heli, its taking 10% of the price you want to pay as a deposit.(so people dont just run off) once the pilot gets there, he will get the 10%. (so its always good for him to fly to the place where someone requested.) then there will be a marker at the Airport, and once the pilot lands WITH the passenger inside , its taking the 90% from the passenger and gives it to the Pilot. Yeah I suppose this is okay, but bad timing for SAPO tho

Oh yeah, i read that before... But i think it would be a better time,because there are more planes to coordinate. I thought about doing that with the airportguards and creating an own radio for guards,SAPO and pilots.
Wifey, the problem is that noone is using the taxi... Everybody uses airtaxi.(they just sit in a plane asking if someone wants one...) from the airport people could order normal taxis to get into the city then. Taxi drivers could be in the above chat, too. So they would know where the next plane is going to land. |

I think something like an airtaxi sounds like a nice idea. It would actually give pilots something useful to do other than spam the chatbox asking people if they need a plane.

I just need enough people to write their oppinion here, so that i know that people want it. And then i need an email or anything to get in contact with brophy so i can send the script to him.

I know there are people that fly an airtaxi already. Im not saying you can't anymore. This script is just making the airtaxi more professional. Imagine there wouldnt be a taxi script but still a spawnpoint and a few taxi organisations. (so no /taxi command and no Getting money while a passenger is inside). That would be kind of stupid,right?
Nobody could just request an airtaxi and run off. And if he does the pilot still gets some money. Im not saying you cant have your pilot organisations anymore, im happy that there are some already. Are you against that script,steve? This post has been edited by Glue: Jul 16 2010, 10:44 PM |
